Officially licensed!

We received our foster care license! We weren't really expecting it until mid-May, but it came at the beginning of May. After having the license for a week, we received our first call - the day before we left for vacation in FL. When I realized it was our licensing specialist calling, my heart started pounding. However, she was just looking for someone to take in three kids for the weekend (called respite care). They were removed from their home and going to their grandparent's home the following week. We had to turn down that opportunity, but she assured me that they would be calling again soon!

We are now enjoying the warm weather in FL with Sean's family. Plenty of sunshine, plenty of relaxation...before our life gets even more crazy!
