My brother-in-law wanted to surprise my sister with pictures of the kids for Christmas. I took the pictures for them, and I was pleased with how they turned out! The kids did really well - that big open room was chilly! Below are a few of my favorites.

A weekend of photo sessions!

I had three photo sessions this weekend! Whew! And I have confirmed with myself that I have a loooooong way to go before I can even consider calling my self somewhat of a professional. :) Here are a few of my favorites from the Morris family session. Well, the baby 'photo shoot' was a lot harder than I thought it would be. However, I did get a few good shots. Thanks to the babies (and mommies!) for being so patient with me! Here are a few of the better pictures. You can see the rest at www.kariandsean.com.

Photography practice!

On Saturday, I took one of my nieces to downtown Bloomington and Miller Park for a 'photo shoot'. She likes to ham it up, so I figured she'd be a good model. She wasn't into it much at first, but after 10 minutes, she was saying "what about right here?" "how about this place?" "ohhh, over there!" So, in all, I think she had just as much fun as me. The only photo editing software I have right now is Google's Picasa, so that combined with my lack of photography knowledge don't make these professional grade by any means....but that's what practice is for, right?!
